It’s time to relive the magic!
My Chemical Romance just uploaded the full video from The Black Parade Is Dead.
The film features the live show in Mexico City, Mexico on Oct 7, 2007 and the 100 people house show at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ on Oct. 24, 2007.
This brings back some pretty awesome memories for me. I attended the Maxwell’s show and it was an amazing night filled with some really sweet moments that didn’t quite make the cut when it came to making TBPID.
My favorite memory is one where a young girl was at the front of the stage, but the stage had no barrier and was at about knee height. She had nothing to hang onto and was being pushed forward and crushed. This particular girl needed some help, so Gerard stopped the show asked her if she was ok. When he was able to determine that she wasn’t ok, he then leaned down, put her arms around his neck and picked her up out of the crowd and sat her down on the stage. The band then let her sit on a speaker off to the side of the stage for the remainder of the show. Just one more reason to know how amazing Gerard and all the guys that were in MCR can be. Good lookin’ out, G!
And now without further ado, here it is! The Full Concert Film of The Black Parade Is Dead!
If you’d like to hear more stories from that night at Maxwell’s let us know in the comments below and we’ll make a blog post!
